a friend of mine has a pair of geckos which he keeps together. the male is just a bit older than the female, but both of them are well under 1 year of age. the problem is that they have mated and i checked the female and she seems to be bearing eggs. she has less than 30 grams. can anyone help with some advice?

Ps: i will adopt the female for a while

30g is super small. This is the exact reason not to keep under breeding weight geckos together. If she really is going to lay eggs you might just have to cross your fingers and hope for the best. Monitor her and her weight closely. She could lose weight too quickly or become egg bound. If she starts to look skinny, loses more than 10% of her body weight or if you notice big eggs inside for more than a week I would get her to a vet who might be able to help. Hopefully you're wrong and she is not gravid. In any case keep her far away from the male.

i'm searching for a vet who can perform surgery just in case and so far i think i found one. i also hope that i'm wrong, but she has a visible white spot on her belly, just like my gravid females... at least it's just one spot
