what do you want to know about them? i can tell you they're really quick and the house geckos especially are escape artists. from experience i can tell you to be very diligent about removing uneaten crickets (and about giving properly sized crickets), where i work they seem to fall victims to cricket wounds frequently. i found one bahaman paralyzed from the middle of the back down because the cricket had injured the spine. that was the result of a careless coworker giving them large crickets :( .

male anoles have a flap under their throat wich will be a bright color (red, blue, yellow). they will display it when signaling their territory. try holding a mirror up to his cage so he can see himself, and he will probably do head bobs, and if hes a male he will display his skin flap.

i kept a brown anole for a while and i cant imagine it getting hurt by a cricket. no offense, but that sounds ridiculous to me. i could see it getting stressed out if you put way to many in the cage, but getting beaten up by a cricket? no way.

crickets are nasty insects and will chew on anything they can. even the a. mali has been chewed on by crickets. i notice whenever the reptiles are sleeping the crickets always swarm them. don't under estimate them just because they are a bug. crickets regularly cannibalize each other and won't think twice about biting a reptile if they can get a hold of it.

if the cricket is half the size of the anole it can easily do some damage.

Crickets can definitely gnaw on reptiles. To my understanding, it has something to do with the "sensitivity" of their "skin". Their skin is a lot thinner than ours, making it easy for crix to nibble.

I remember reading more about it in a thread here, but of course I can't find it now.
I've also seen quite a few reptiles fall prey to them. :x

Thetrick is to put in a little piece of food for the crickets. Also, it's usually extra weak animals that the crickets chew on.

To really fine tune your house gecko care it helps to know what type of house gecko it is. Assumeing a Hemidactylus, tropical sp. or turcicus
