Help???

My gecko is so mean. i got him about 3 weeks ago and im still scared to pick him up because he hisses an jumps at me. What do i do to break that from him???

Well its a little gecko don't be scared your the boss! If your gonna get bit then let it go to a good cause. (getting your gecko to be tamed.)

He doesn't want to be bothered. Let him get comfortable in his new home before you try to handle him.

Hes a leopard gecko (Eublepharis macularius) its small lol.

Actually, a big male can do quite some damage to human flesh...

To OP, I would just baby talk to him softly and slowly put a fist in front of him. Let him lick you to pick up your scent. If you want to touch him, touch the side of his body; its generally more easily accepted by the gecko. Try not to touch head or the tubercles.
