So here's what i have,

2 Superhypo adult females (proven breeders)
1 Superhypo het for Bell Albino adult female (proven breeder)
1 High-yellow normal adult female (proven breeder)

1 baby tremper albino female

1 juvenile male Jungle APTOR 100% Het for RAPTOR

i'm still learning about all the morphs and such and having trouble considering how many there are. What can i make with these? What should i get in order to make some good morphs?

thanks for any advice, i'm getting really addicted to these little guys lol.

Here's the pics i have of the leos too,

The adults and aptor pics are from the breeder (Andrew Gentry) before i got'em last week. Are the morph names right?

The bottom on of the Aptor pics is my male.

The other one is my tremper albino.

What can i make with these?

Breeding your male to your females you should get the following:

APTOR het RAPTOR x SHTCTB: All would be normal, with hypo, tangerine, carrot tail, and jungle/stripe influence. All of them would be het Tremper albino, with a 50% chance of being het Eclipse.

APTOR het RAPTOR x SHTCTB het Bell albino: The same as above, but the hatchlings would also have a 50% chance of being het Bell albino.

APTOR het RAPTOR x High yellow: All would be normal, with some jungle/stripe influence, het Tremper albino and with a 50% chance of being het Eclipse.

APTOR het RAPTOR x Tremper albino: All would be Tremper albino, with some jungle/stripe influence, with 50% chance of being het Eclipse.

What should i get in order to make some good morphs?

I suggest that you get a Bell albino male to breed to your het Bell female. Most of us don't recommend crossing albino lines because it would be confusing in the futureif they get too mixed. To make the most of the hypo traits in your female, I would get a Bell hybino male. You would produce 50% Bell hybinos and 50% SHT het Bell. Breeding her to a normal Bell albino would increase the spotting in the offspring.

The other crosses, I think they are alright, but with a female RAPTOR you would get to use that het RAPTOR trait in you male.

Are the morph names right?

Well, an APTOR is a patternless stripe Tremper albino, and yours is just a stripe rather than a patternless stripe. About the females, most people would call them super hypo tangerine carrot tail baldies (SHTCTB) and not just super hypos.

thanks for the response! :)

I think i'm gonna go with a male bell hybino and probly female raptor.

I'm still learning all these different morphs and such, again thanks for the help.

So regarding the APTOR, that still makes him an APTOR though, right? Or am i reading it wrong? lol

Well, If you ask me, the name APTOR shouldn't even exist, haha. I think yours has too much pattern to be called an APTOR/patternless stipe albino.

Basically there are three types of stripes: the normal stripes, the reverse stripes and the patternless stripes. Normal stripes have two lines of spots and the lavender coloration of the bands is outside these lines. Reverse stripes have also two lines of spots, but they are closer to each other than in normal stripes and the lavender is between the lines. Patternless stripes have reduced, shattered pattern, and no lavender bands.

People doesn't quite know how the stripe gene works (that's why I prefer to talk about jungle/stripe influence that just telling you they'll be hets), but the normal one seems to act recessive, the reverse stripe appears in stripe x stripe crosses and the patternless stripe appears in reverse stipe x stripe crosses.

That's what I recall, but I'm not sure I'm right, maybe someone can correct me.

The pinkish coloration on the back of your APTOR is the albino version of the lavender bands in normals. Yours looks more like he is a normal stripe than a patternless stripe. So technically he wouldn't be an APTOR. But, you know, most people aren't really strict with the names and will pass him as an APTOR.

He is beautiful and has the genetic potential of an APTOR, I don't think the commercial name matters that much.

Sorry if I confused you  I probably dragged you into a lecture that wasn't necessary.

You would get 50% RAPTORs and 50% Tremper albinos het RAPTOR.

Hahaha, I think i get what you're saying. I never realized how confusing this crap was lol.

I'll definitely be getting a girl RAPTOR then that's for sure. Thanks again for the response, it's been very helpful.
