Herpstat or Helix?

I'm deciding between a Herpstat or a Helix Thermostat for my new incubator that my husband made me out of a fridge.

Is there a big difference between the two? for those with experience with them, Which do you like better and why?

Thanks!

They are both proportional thermostats, so either would be good, as that is the type you want when controling an incubator. I use a Helix and I love it.

I use both the Herpstat and the Helix. One thing that I like better about the Herpstat is that it shows the current temperature at the probe and even shows in 10ths of a degree.

I'm really liking the info I found on the herpstat pro! I can run 2 full racks off one, splitting them each in two!

You can run 4 off the PRO version and 2 off the HerpstatII.

I use a herpstat and it has been running over a year straight with no problems.

My Helix shows the current temp, but not the 10ths.

Currently, I use Helix's on my incubators and Johnsons (non-proportional) for my racks. I am going to be getting 4 new A/P racks and am going to try the Herpstat Pro for them. Thanks for the inputs, everyone!
