Emily, He's Amazing!

Now I gotta keep it real. What's with the "SHT" portion of the morph name on this one though? Seriously, I'm not seeing any indication of a Hypo gene being expressed on that guy. If he was Super Hypo Tang and Tremper Albino, then he'd be a Sunglow right? And for sure he doesn't look like any sunglow I've ever seen. Was he advertised with that same morph title?

I'll answer that since I produced him. I would really call him an APTOR, although his parents weren't sold to me as such, so I just classify him as a super hypo tangerine. When he hatched he was almost completely patternless, and all of the highlighting you see there he got only a couple of months ago as he aged. The only spotting he had was on his head, tail, and one lavender spot on his side. He's not a sunglow, those I consider to be the electric tangerines of the albino world.

Regardless, it's all semantics, and what you see is what you get. You can call him what you will, but he's still one of my favorites, and I'm happy Bubblez enjoys him so much!

Besides, he wasn't 'advertised' as anything. He was a gift. I feel moderately deflated here.

I had plenty to come back with on this, but I'll keep it short. This gecko is no more "SHT" than a Normal is. Please don't mislead people just to make the animal sound better. :main_no: That's just wrong.

It was a gift. I didn't mislead anyone. I wasn't trying to make my animal sound better. Why would I? I'm not in this for profit, and I actually spent money to give it to Emily. You didn't receive the gecko. She did. She's happy with him.

Stop trying to marginalize what is otherwise a very happy occasion. If you want to argue morphs, start another topic. Your negativity is not appreciated.

On a more positive note, Emily, those are very nice pictures! ^_^
