Het blizzards

Today when I moved two eggs from my Blazing blizzard project that were laid last night I thought of something. Some het blizzards have that very spotty look, almost like a visible het form. None of my 66% possible hets have this look. Since this year Im proving them out with a blazing blizzard male I will *hopefully* know which females are truely het for tremper and blizzard. Does anyone have a proven het blizzard that looks like a normal? Once I hatch some eggs all of the babies will be at least het blizzard so I will be able to look into this genetic mystery myself, but I just wanted to hear what anyone else has to say regarding the pattern of het blizzards.

My breeders are:
1.0 Tremper Blazing blizzard
0.1 Normal 66% het <-gravid
0.1 Normal 66% het <-laid eggs last night
0.1 Normal 66% het
0.1 Tremper 66% het blizzard <- gravid

The original pair that the Blizzard line originated from were heavily spotted and most, but not all hets continue to show this trait.

That spotting is exactly what I am talking about. 3 of my 4 look 100% normal, and one has some small spotting along with bigger spots, but its not as much as most spotted hets. Hopefully with my blazing projects Ill be able to examine this myself.

The first two het blizzards were from a scammer who went to a pet store and tried to trade them in for a boa. then when the manager wasnt looking, both the geckos, the boa, and the guy dissapeared. Later that same man came to that same pet shop and asked how to incubate leo eggs. An employee told him and a few months later he came claiming to have hatched a patternless leopard gecko. At the time that pet store employee and her friend pat murphy were the only ones breeding patternless leos and she wanted to keep it that way so she offered to buy all the guys leos off of him. He offered to sell them several times then changed his mind several times. Eventually he finally sold the two parents and one hatchling to her. She thought that the blizzards were the same as the patternless so she bred them togeather and got double hets in the F1. This might explain how the patternless leos might of gotten that spotty look, from that crossing and the crosses afterwords to try and produce bananas.

Yep I know the story... I also believe that is where the Patternless hets got their spots, but who knows... The two are very similar and could be compairable to how there's three strains of Albinos; these are two strains of Patternless.
