HET JUNGLE?

I am unsure if a tremper can be het jungle actually, but all my tremper/mack tremper offspring from a jungle mother have a circle on the tail. I was told that a circle on the tail was a het marker. All my het trempers have it but one(from 6 females).

So is het jungle a true discription , because I'm leaning towards " from jungle mother "

This i a area where people opinion will differ :D but here goes. They are not het in the sence of being proper simple recessive but it can act in a manner of.Offsring from jungle pairing that have normal patterning. Are likely but not 100% to give you jungle offsping. If it's put to the anothing leo with the same kind of genetic history or put to a full jungle.Aberrant pattern-(circle back/saddle back'etc) offspring you could call a type of visual het for jungle.Though they are name aberrant patterned leo they are half way there of being a jungle.

Yeah, I didn't think het jungle was correct, but was a bit unsure. That would explain my abberant patterned mack trempers then :)

Thanks for the info.

Yes, that looks like a mack both because of the color and the pattern.

Id take a jungle over a banded any day, expecially on mack trempers, my male mack tremper is jungle, and he is awesome
Not me. With Macks, you tend to see a lot of broken patterns, more jungle like. I like seeing the rarer stuff, give me bandeds :)

With Macks, it's been thought the Jungling pattern comes from the gene being In-Complete Dominate. The Jungle pattern is basically a blend between a Super Snow and a Normal. IMO
