Het Radar question

Hi guys and girls,

This is probably a really basic question but its kind of bothering me. If a Leo is het Radar, what would i plug into a leo calculator?

So would a Mack Snow het Radar be:

Mack Snow
het Bell
het Eclispe
het patternless

And would i plug all three of these hets into a genetics calculator. Or could a 'het radar' just be het Bell, or Just het Eclispe?

Basic I know, but i'm working through the genetics (which i find super interesting) and i'm looking at getting a 3.1 group. and i've decided to focus on snow and Bells, hence the interest in Radar genetics.

'Het Radar' would be het bell and het eclipse. There's no het patternless involved as that would be Murphy patternless which is not part of the makeup of a 'RADAR'.

If you're getting a group, 1.3 would be better probably (1 male and 3 females).

Good choice on bells by the way......

A 3.1 group would be three males and one female, which would be a waste. You would want a 1.3 group which is one male and three females.

The eclipse and bell albino are simple recessives, so het radar would be het eclipse and het bell. The patternless stripe is a line bred trait, so a gecko can't be het for it.

Yeah i meant 3 females 1 male, got that the wrong way round!

So a het radar would be het for both bell and eclipse. Cool.

Radar and raptors originally had to have the patternless stripe. But people are calling any eclipse bells or raptors radar and raptor. Which is technically incorrect.
