I know how you get 100% hets. But how do you get 66% hets?
If you breed two hets together, for example two het albinos, you get 1/4 albinos, 1/2 hets, and 1/4 normals. As the normals and hets cannot be told apart visually, all of the non-visual albions are referred to as 66% poss albinos, i.e. there is a 2 in 3 chance they are het for albino.Stitch said:I know how you get 100% hets. Superb explanation and use of appropriate example. Couldn't have done it better myselfo0 Ryan 0o said:You get 66% possible hets from breeding a het to a het. Here's an example: You take two normal het albinos and breed them. The results would be 25% albinos, 50% normals het albino, and 25% normals. Since you can't tell the difference between a het and normal, they're considered 66% hets. 2/3rds or 66.6% of them will be hets.
I hope this helps.
