I can't tell you how happy I was when I got the e-mail saying that I'd been approved to the boards! YAYY!!
My name is Renay, I'm the proud keeper of 2 female leopard geckos, one is a high yellow (apparently, I'm new to this whole thing, so I'm not sure lol), and the other is a normal, theres definately a difference between the two's colour... I was also surprised the other day when I was given a gecko that was assumed to be either a leo or a crestie and it ended up being a marbled gecko. Thanks to some members here via the chat room (which i'm addicted to lol), I think we've properly identified the little mystery gecko as a Marbled Gecko, there is however still some general confusion as a lot of people are also saying that it looks like a House Gecko. I'll attach a picture to this post, maybe you guys can help me out.
I also share my home with an American Pit Bull Terrier mix named Dolly - shes my heart dog, such a sweet heart. I got her from a rescue in New York and brought her back home to Quebec almost 2 years ago! My boyfriend has a miniature poodle named Maggie (not my favorite dog in the world, I call it Maggot, lovingly for the most part lol), annddd we have 3 cats, and a 4-5 year old male Beardie, hes pushing 20" long, Turbo... Hes such a grumpy old man, would never bite, but i have a funny feeling hes not entirely impressed when we pick him up lol. We've got a few other critters running around the house to.
I'm finding that this reptile obsession of mine is growing rapidly, and its contageous, thankfully... my boyfriend has caught it as well. Now when I sit around and talk about making a certain room in the house a herp room hes talking about how he can build shelves and make things to breed crickets lol... LOOVVEEE ITTT.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone, I have a lot to learn and this looks like a great place to do so
