I've been researching for about 3 months now and this site is fantastic!

A little about me.. I am from Michigan and I currently go to the University of Tennessee. I've had a green anole when I was younger along with a beardie.

I'm set on getting a leo while I am home this summer from school, but I am unsure about traveling with it back to TN. Any thoughts or comments would help a lot!

Thanks.. I look forward to learning even more from everyone here.

Put him in a small transport container, like a critter carrier, and just try to keep him out of direct sunlight while still keeping him warm and cozy, and he'll be fine. :)

Welcome to the forum.

Traveling with any reptile- do NOT let the sun shine at all on whatever container you transport in. It will cook the animal in a very short time.

You may have already done so, but you'll also want to check to make sure you're allowed to keep the gecko when you return to college. Dorm housing often has no-pet policies, if you're renting a place you'd want to check with your landlord (and any roommates).
