What have you researched? What have you learned from that research? What are some of the specific questions that remain unanswered?

It is soooo much easier to answer specific questions rather than general ones.

It's not necessarily a matter of how long you've researched. What's important is the completeness of your said researched and, even more so, the reality of your situation.

Have you researched every facet of breeding? Including incubation of the eggs and care of the resulting hatchlings?
Do you have all of the equipment and housing necessary to breed and house both the parent geckos and their offspring?
Are you capable of providing a home for all of the geckos?

I think the last one is the most important. I know I'm new here and new to all of this, but I've read nearly all of your posts, and it just doesn't seem to me like you're ready to go through with this. And the inconsistancy between some of your posts bothers me if you are serious about breeding.

What are you going to do with the offspring if nobody buys them or adopts them?

My advise is to get a leopard gecko, after you have all the necessary information for their care and a proper set-up, and keep it for a year before attempting to start a breeding project. This way you will have a good basic understanding of the care and husbandry, as well as the general behavior of your gecko.
