Hello im back, never talked in a awhile. I have some important questions!

1. I just got my geck new "carpet" (Fabric; Felt) is it ok to use this for him? i diddnt have time to go to petshop and they were 20 cents.

2. I bought the new "carpet" (Fabric;Felt), and i need to wash the old repti- carpet. Can i put it in the washer machine and dryer? if so, how will i have to wash it?

Well thats my qustions! anyway here is alitle update on my gecko Meejee.

Hand wash it use reptile disinfectant if you have it. Don't scrub it or the binds will become loose and then your pet might get stuck on it, I use tile and carpet together half and half. Iv recently changed over to carpet I'm yet to see any problems.

I generally don't like using reptile carpet. While it is 100% impaction free and certainly better than any loose substrate, it can be a bacteria ground and claws and teeth can be stuck. I would stick with paper towel or slate tiles like GGG mentioned.

Great to know your gecko is growing, eating and taming nicely!

He even gets along with my collared lizard!

I'd be careful if I were you... as far as I know, collared lizards and leopard geckos aren't meant to socialize together. Please correct me (Suncharmers?) if I'm wrong, I don't know much about mixed species w/ leopard geckos.

Thanks so much for the help. My gecko only met my collared lizad twice, outside there cages. trust me, i dont house them together. i am not sure if mine is a sun charmer, i think he is, he is so bright!
