Hey, Im Yamori.

Well actually my name is Darren. Yamori is the japanese word for gecko.
I have had an interest in lizards for many years and decided to buy some.


I bought 2 adult Australian house geckos. Toda and ezo. ill take some pics and post them soon.

Ive used a largish fish tank with built in lighting in the lid and have made their home look much like the environment and habitat that their wild relatives have.

they seem to be doing good, ive seen toda eat but Ezo hasnt come out of his hide. hes the one that peed onme when i got him. guess it will just take time for them to adjust.

Hey everyone, thanks for the warm welcome:)

These are the first pics I have taken of the tank, ventilation and Toda. Ezo is camera shy lol. He wouldn't come out of his hide and i didn't want to stress him out so i didn't bother him.

I took one of the ventilation becouse i wanted ask you if you think they will get enough air?. There is aslo ventilation on the sides of the black lid. The light bulb in the tank is a standerd one but i was thinking of replacing it with a UV one.

The tank is a little crowded at the moment but i have ordered some items -Small waterfall, medium hide, climbable background, med crickets, heat wave stone, tank cleaner etc. i will re arrange it when i get those and create more room for them to move around.

sorry about poor picture quality. its hard to get a clear shot thrue the tank. ill try to get some better pics of both lizerds soon.
