HG Tang = SHTCTB?

Are they the same? What does HG stand for?

HG is for Hot Geckos as in Dan (the firemans line) Lubinsky
At least this is what I think you are refering to.

Somehow yes it is the same I would say. But also not. You have to see their are ppl breeding to increase the Tangerine on their Geckos. Dan made a great job with his Geckos. He has an big and intense amount of Tangerine on his Geckos and his line is beauftiful, thats why he named his line the HG Tangs. You can find similar things at Tangerine Tornado from Urban Gecko and Electric Line from Hisss.

I would say no, they are not the same. Some HG tangs are Hype Tangs, some are super hypo, some have carrot tail, others don't...so I am saying no. Dan, has worked to make his tang line very bright. We have two and they are beautiful.

Very well said, supperl Tangerines are tangerines, but tangerine is only one of the traits that make up the "SHTCTB"--and some people (like Dan, Kelli, Albey, Craig etc.) have bred for varying degrees of these traits for so many generations, they've created their very own unique lines of Tangerine or SHTCT(B)--They need names once they've created something extraordinary! I'm waiting for a screamer male HG tang fom Dan--fingers crossed for this year
