Hello, i am a new leo gecko mom and look forward to learning all i can from this place! Question, I have a baby and it is about 3-4 inches, how much should it eat a day, and can i over feed it? i dont know if male or female yet but its name is Snape thanks so much!!

As much as it can! It's hard to overfeed these guys. I would say that you should offer at least 4-5 appropriate sized food items a day unless it's really young and then you should offer food twice a day. Basically they will eat until they don't want anymore. I've found that when I want them to eat (when the neighborhood kids come by to check them out) they usually won't, but when they are ready to eat....stand back! You should be able to figure out when they seem the hungriest, and just go from there. Try and give them just enough that there are no leftovers. If they don't eat it within about 15-20 minutes I suggest removing the bugs so they don't bother the gecko. Good luck and welcome to GF!

Hi, nice to have you and your geckos I feed all my snow kids everyday, toss in a bunch of crickets, I sorta know how many each nabs,,, lol, and I also fill a saucer with mealworms everynight. I agree with Chris they do liek to eat :main_laugh:
