hi my name is zoie i have 2 leo's bob and rita
when i got rita and bob.Rita was already gravid.which is some thing i wasn't wanting till i had done some reading on how to take care of a gravid female gecko but it was not to be.
As soon as i got them home i put bob in another tank and that is were he will remain until i know enough about this.
But at the min my main thing is getting my little rita though this.
she has had one egg which is now in the incubator but she had not had the other egg.
she keeps lifting her tail and looking and licking at her back end which makes me think that she has another egg in her due to the way she is acting
I am getting a little worried has it has been 5 days since she dropped the first egg.
She has a cake tub in the viv with moss in it and i have put a black sheet over the front of the viv so she cant see anyone about cos she is out in the day time.
i have breed corns snakes in the past so have some experience of breeding but never with lizards which is why i am so worried about her if it was a corn snake i would know what to do right away.
i don't want to lose my little girl and am trying my best to help her in any way i can.
she is still bright but not sure if she has eaten much as there is only 1 cricket missing on a morning when i get up.
my temps are 29.4oc in the hot end in the day time and 21.2oc on a night on cali sand for subs and food wax worms large black crickets dusted with calci-dust by vetark
i am sorry for such a long post but i thought if anyone would know what to do it would be a site just for geckos.
so any info anyone could give me would help.
