Hi Everyone! I'm new and was just wondering what type of gecko this could be.

Its tail is very dark and it looked like a mack snow when I first got it.. I just need to verify its genetics the best I can.

It is the one to the right of the mack super snow.

hard to say looks ms but can be normal to if you have a better pic that would help allot

I took some more photos. This leopard gecko used to be a mack snow. I'm pretty sure of that. But for some reason, it's white bands became extremely dark. Also, thanks for the help :)

if you bought it as a mack snow and your sure of that then its a mack snow
they Always turn darker if they mature the white Always goes away after some time
and if you keep the temp @ a good temp he wil color up more vibrant
we keep all our geckos @ 35 celcius and the colors are brigther if you keep them this way in my oppinion :eek:

I keep the gecko room heated with a thermostat at 88 degrees Fahrenheit at all times. As for its classification, I've learned from a breeder that it is actually a tug snow. And the reason for its dark coloration is due to the fact it is a hyper-melanistic leopard gecko. :D Thanks for the input though
