HI everyone! Well I'm a new Leo owner. Here's a short story on how I got them. They were given to my co-worker's brother, who then didn't take care of them so she gave them to me. There is two of them, male and female. They're about 6 to 7 in long, so I'm guessing their about a year old or so. I'm totally new to geckos so I done read the basic caresheet like 30 times now, LOL.
Well anyways, I housed them in a 29gal, 30L x 12.5W x 18.5H tank and I got all the basic stuff such as water bowl and heat lamp and three hideaways, mealworm dish and calcium dish. I'm thinking of getting a UTH but the guy at the animal place stated that I didn't need one but on here I see that a lof you do have one...so should I get one? To my surprise the next morning, I see an egg! Of course I didn't know what to do with it, I don't have an incubator. I just moved it under the heat lamp and within a couple hours it was stepped on by one of the Leos. I felt bad. So then the male starts shedding, and that was awesome because he ate it. I read about that. It was pretty cool! I'm sure I'll have many questions ahead so be ready...lol.
Well anyways here they are: Oh and please help me to identify what they are.
Here's my female
Here's my male. He looks dull in color because I took the picture right before he shedded.
Here's my tank
