2 eggs in my gecko's moist hide box, how long they were actually in there i don't know
3-4 days ago she shed and i didnt take notice of the eggs or her being really skinny (i had noticed for some time she was getting fat, i thought ok either fat or eggs lol) Today when i went to feed her i saw how skinny she was, i thought oh maybe i wasnt feeding enough or was waiting too long between feeds (normally 3-4 days)
My concern right now is this....i know i moved the eggs while sifting thru the hide box, i'm afraid i might have "killed" them, but still moved them into another smaller plastic container with moist medium and a lid with 3 small holes. I guess time will tell if they will survive or not. They feel a bit firm and the one egg has a soft spot. I dont know what other info to give really, but wanted to share this , now i learned my lesson to be more careful while sifting thru moist hide lol..might find a surprise or 2 ;D
No i'm not actually trying to breed, but dont mind a cpl clutches either. My daughters want a cpl babies, after that i might not want anymore unless i know i can find homes for them lol
