Hi everyone i'm Claudia and i'm completely new to reptile keeping (only have 2 Whites Tree Frogs) I'm planning on getting a leopard gecko in October long way away, but i want to have everything ready and know how to care for my future Leo properly :) Sorry if my questions sound stupid to you all because i'm new, haha :)

Vivarium: I found these cheap Vivarium's on eBay, are they suitable for the leo?

I only plan on getting one Leo, So which vivarium would be better for him/her? (Feel free to post some pictures of your vivarium decoration to help give me idea's)
Heating: Also my mum has a heat mat to help brew wine or some thing like that, should i use that to heat the vivarium or should i just buy a reptile heat mat? I don't need a heat lamp do i? I've read that you only need a Heat mat / UTH
Substrate: I've seen many posts about sand giving impaction and not giving impaction, so i'll just avoid sand to be safe, Should i use Tiles, Paper Towels or Repti-Carpet? I always thought tiles looked easy to heat and clean.
Food: Are meal worms good as a staple diet? Are there any specific vitamins / minerals / calcium products i should buy or is standard "Beaphar Reptile Calcium" okay for them?
Leopard Gecko: I've not yet grasped the "Morphs" part of Leo's, So i was wondering; Does Morph / gender affect how i should care for my future Leo? Like do some Morphs require different needs? I'm just looking for a nice friendly Leo :) I'm going to provide the Leo with 3 Hides (Cool side, Hot side and moist hide) Are they ok?
Sorry for the extremely long post and questions :nice:
(The reason i'm getting my Leo so far away is i'm getting my room decorated so i have to clear things i'm not using out and keep my room tidy so we can paint and decorate my room)
Thanks in advance :daisy:
