Hello everyone! My name is Amber and I am a geckoholic. There! Admitting you have a problem is the first step, right? [emoji6]
About a 2 years ago my husband brought home a gecko his boss was getting rid of, Spots. Kids were off at college and the man hated the sound of crickets so I ended up with surprise pet! I wasn't to sure at first, I had never owned a reptile,Never dealt with bugs in large numbers and was pretty sure that reptiles had no personalities and scrapped like birds. Spots taught me a thing or two within the first few days. The gecko smile paired with the wink won me over. 8 months ago a friend was tired of her novelty pet Leo and I happily took her off her hands, so I had Spots and Fiona (Fifi). Then I decided the kids were old enough to have their own gecko, so I went to a breeder with the intention of picking up one little girl I could hand raise for the kids.I went home with 3. And just this month on a whim I picked up Jezebell off kijiji on a whim. And to my shame I kept the babies,I mean, I'm the one cleaning up the poop right? My hobby has turned into an absolute addiction. I love my geckos and the obvious personalities that go with each one!
Spots is a normally marked male, Fifi is a giant patternless, the babies are het bell albino with one starting to show a few blotches of bright orange on her tail and Jez is an albino of some sort that I hope to have one of you identify for me!
Oh! And I'm from the foolishly cold Toronto, Ontario [emoji3]
