Alright I live in a 1 bedroom apartment. I went to bed at 5 am with all my geckos, woke up 4 hours later and my super snow male IS GONEEE. I looked everywhere in the apartment (even opened cupboards haha). He is nowhere to be found. He could not have fit under the main door to get into the hallway so he is in my apartment. I just do not know where. I looked under the stove and fridge, in every closet, under every couch, in every dark nook and cranny. I looked near any place that might be slightly warmer for him to hide. He is NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. Anyone have any tips??

I don't know how this might work for a Leo, but when my Sand Boa escaped I set out a heating pad on high at night in the room he escaped in. Every few hours I would turn it back on, since they shut off automatically after so long. The next morning I found him underneath it.

Remember what they can & can't climb. this limits the search areas a little bit.
Remember what they like is dark places, preferably warm (or atleast "as warm as possible" even if not heated).

---------------

What room is your enclosure in? Kneel down beside the enclosure, and look ALL AROUND you...looking at things they can crawl up, under, and INSIDE OF.

You live in Grand Forks, North Dakota? I bet that even if your floor is carpeted, the surface temp might be too cold for a Leo to like. Probably ANY hard surface would be too cool or less comfortable than a cushioned/carpeted material.

I would CAREFULLY look inside the sofa, or inside similar cloth/carpet areas.

I have kind of a conundrum as far as where I think he is...I have a coat room/garbage closet that has a furnace room inside of that room. The furnace room I don't have a key for...and i'm not supposed to have any pets but fish so I can't exactly ask my landlord for the key hahaha...just gonna have to wait for him to come out for food/water

The furnace door is locked but it is inside your closet? If so, get on Youtube and watch "rake pins door lock" videos. :D

Did you check the INSIDES of your furniture. Once on the floor, I am guess that the only things it could climb & hide in are drapes, laundry piles, and couches/sofas...I think it would want to get off the floor unless your floor has a surface temp HIGHER than 85F (theory of mine)...

I lost my Hypo High Yellow Designer a while back. I put some dried mealworms on the ground in my room. Went to the third floor to play some xbox came down around 11:00 pm and there she was in the middle of the hallway worm in mouth trying to run into my bathroom. I was laughing so hard.

If you do find him something I always did to catch speedy escapies is to leave a pile/bowl of food in the middle of the floor where you lost him. You can also put a heat mat there if you think it would help draw him in. If you think he's one to dart off or something toss a little towel or blanket over him when he appears. I lost a couple leos before as well as gerbils and this seemed to be the most effective way for me to catch them. lol

*update* yeah I checked every square inch of my apartment with a flashlight for 3 hours when I woke up to find him gone. I had him for like 12 hours before he escaped. Tricky guy. I've had some for years who I have never seen escape even without a lid on lol. He was just clever as all get up. I tried mealworms in a dish on the floor and didn't see any gone. I'm really hoping he is alive hiding in that furnace room.
