Hide questions

I am planing out a new gecko setup so got a few questions. I will be building hides, caves, and walls out of foam.

How tall should hides be?

When they get full size about 9"-10" do they need square or long hides? What size do you use? I was thinking 10"x7" but that feels huge.

Ohh yeah that is huge. My adult female has a small coconut hide that she has had since she was young and she still loves it. Honestly, height should be just a few inches high, and they should be able to curl up into it. I mean, you can make them as big as you want, but the "smaller" they are, the more you can fit in.
