Try looking for some slate rocks. They look pretty neat and since they're flat, you can stack them up to whatever design you want. The drawback with real rocks is that they're heavy so be careful.

Some people have actually made caves and such out of 1/4" styrofoam. They cut it to size, cured it and painted it so it becomes hard. Good luck.

You can use pieces of slate and build one using non-toxic aquarium sealant to attach the pieces together.
I did just that and this was my first shot.

It looks really nice and goes with my setup any way. Though I am thinking of adding more height.

The whole substrate it slate with Calci Sand filler. looks nice and easy to clean.

Wow, thanks so much for the information! Is there anything I need to be aware of before constructing....rock prep. ect.....also other question, what are the more reputable web sites that sell reptile, gecko supplies.....live in rural Nebraska and have no close pet store.... :( Since this is the case, I am also looking for a reputable online site that sells geckos (leopard).....all advice is appreciated!

Im not sure where to buy it online but I bet theres a quarry around your house. Go to a place that sells like Bathroom and Kitchen stuff (Sinks, tile, etc..) They'd be able to help you. I would trust shipping of slate just because it breaks pretty easily.
