History of my leo: Draco

The story starts at a pets mart in Lancaster Pennsylvania in November of 2010. I walk in to the "petshop" in the intent of buying a reptile. First I grab a 20 gallon terrarium and look at the reptiles, and then from all the reptiles the Leopard gecko's caught my eye. Only one employee gave me the information I needed on leopard geckos and answered my questions honestly (I felt he was being honest) and before he pulled on out for me he said if I were to wait a few more days I can buy the leo 20% off. And wait I did, but before I left the shop the one employee that had the knowledge I needed pointed me off to a few things I will for her habitat and then I left and returned a few days later to buy one 20% off. There were only three left and I happen to choose the one that was super duper hyper. I brought her home with me and immediately she hid in her little coconut shell. She only came out of her shell to eat for the next couple of days. After a month I was feeding her by hand and handling her, when friends would try to handle her she would hop off them and jump on me and stay on my shoulder. Skip to april of 2011.I was unemployed and only way I was able to feed Draco was by borrowing money every two weeks just to feed her. Eventually it came to a point where every two weeks became every month, this made me very sad because she was so thin and it came to the point where a friend who bought her gecko around the same time as I did actually had dead fruit flies that she wasn't feeding her leo (it was packaged and never opened) and she thankfully gave it to me. I would have been forced to maybe give her to my friend who had the funds but I wasn't ready to part with her (yes I was being super selfish.) She ate a few but never liked them. It came to the point where she stopped letting me handle her and I don't blame her. Thankfully my skill with technology gave me enough money to buy her food after a few more months. Skip to February of 2012, my father and I weren't getting along very well and I had to leave. I could not bring her with me for I didn't have a stable living situation, after two weeks of not having a stable living situation I was finally able to had a place to stay. But, sadly I could not have Draco with me for I no longer had the funds to feed her again so I had to leave her with my parents. Now skip to November and Draco and I are reunited once again, she is healthy and eating a bunch of crickets. She has yet to let me handle her as much but I am slowly gaining her trust again. every now and then she lets me handle her for a bit then runs off to her cave. I think it is about time she had another leo to keep her company. :)
