i have 2 eggs in my incubator so far...i candle them after they were laid and there nice and round and they were yellow but they still had a red vein in them..its been 2 weeks since i last check them and when i did they glow pink now but on the bottom of them theyre dented in...can they still hatch or are they duds cause theyre pretty dented but still glow pink

I'm not sure, but if the are still pink and no mold or rotting just keep them in. I think dents can be caused by lack of humidity. Like I said not sure, but I wouldn't mess with them and risk hurting them. Ie. Picking them up

If they are nice an pink with vein/s in them, then they should still be good. The dents should correct themselves within a week or so, just make sure your humidity levels are within the correct range. I've had eggs that dented in the beginning and hatch our beautiful babies.

yes, i'd make a new substrate for them. if you're using vermiculite you can add 80g of water to 100g of vermiculite and mix well. add the eggs and put a tight fitting lid on them so they don't dry out. sounds like your mix is way too dry.
