I finally got home from FL late Monday night. Boy is it nice to sleep in my own bed after 4 weeks away. I would have to pick one of the hottest August in my lifetime to spend in FL, I don't even remember Miami being that hot when I lived there. At least there wasn't a single hurricane, well except my little guy named after the Miami Hurricanes. As some of you know I took all of my geckos with me on the trip. Every one did great and are now settling back into their racks again after the long drive home.

I didn't get to meet everyone I wanted to as my list of highlighted breeders got pushed away in all the excitement. It was great meeting Christine and Phillip from GKO, Matt, and Paul Allen from Bright Albino, and seeing a few people that I've gotten to know here at the small local show, Robbie Hamper, and both Jeffs from JMG. Great seeing every one! And to the one that hid under a hat so he didn't have to face me, and you know who you are.... I'll catch you another time.... ;) I had so much fun, must do this again soon. I'm thinking Oct, in Chicago may be the time. :)

Oh yeah, there is a reason I'm posting this in the Show Off Your Leos Forum. Even though I came home with less leos then I left with, (gave a breeding group to Missy, and one of my babies), I came home with three new leos.

Well on to showing off my leos..... There were so many that I wanted to get and there was one booth that I had to keep visiting, thank you Paul and Matt for putting up with me ;) . I had to behave, and it was sooooo hard to. With so many morphs, it was very hard not to expand my projects at the same time that I'm trying to narrow down my morph of choice. Here are my newest additions, in no particular order.

All of them are from Paul Allen

First a proven female, Jungle het Bell produced by Kelli (Paul had named her Hissy, but I already have a Hissy, so she'll be getting a new name soon.)
:p Matt! ;)

Second, a female Jungle SH Bell

Third a "MALE" Stripe Tremper, poss het RAPTOR (Paul we were both wrong, LOL , She is indeed a HE, after taking a better look in brighter light, those are pores and not dipples. But I may have room for him in a project after all)

Thank you! I love them all. I've wanted a small tort for some time, but locally they usually only have full grown ones. When I picked him out the lady had just added lettuce and I grabbed him cause he was a very good eater, running as fast as those little legs would take him straight to the food and chowing down. LOL

LOL! It was great meeting you too Felicia! Maybe if we're ever in your neck of the woods, we'll stop by and take a gander at your setup! I could also take a guess as to who "Mr. Incognito" was! Did you see him there, because we missed him! I'm so JEALOUS! :)

Hey Felicia! It was great seeing you at the show and I'm glad you found some geckos you liked...(I think I came home with almost more than I took!) Sorry that stripe turned out to be a male, hopefully he can work for you still...I'm thinking his colors are going to be getting much better. Hey, I brought home a Russian Tortoise too! My little boy has really been wanting a "turtle" lately...he/she got the distinguished name of "cutie-pie". Well, it was fun hanging out with you for a little bit...I'm sure we'll cross paths again.

I think you just gave me a new nickname for him.. ;) LOL No I never did see him. Chatted with him yesterday and he forgot (yeah right) that he had my cell phone # with him while he was down there. LOL

aaawwww Cutie-Pie!!! They are cute little buggers. I'm just glad I was able to find a tort that doesn't get too big for me to house.

I'll be breeding the stripe to one of my SHTCTBs het Tremper that I hatched out this year, and the fallowing year I'll pair him with Patty my Patternless Stripe to prove she's het or not, I have other plans for her next year, or she'd be with him sooner.

Yes that is part of the plan, providing I can make it. :) I really like meeting all the other breeders I have met, since I have none one at home other than my son that is interested in these amazing animals. Maybe I should trade in my husband! hummm....LOL
