Some home made hides my wife and I made. These were first attempts. We'll be making more intricate hides soon :)
Let me know what you think!

Nice hides! share your process if you can.
I'll post some photos of the process after Repticon. Very busy getting everything ready for it :)

Would you mind saying EXACTLY what brand of sealant you used on them. I want to make some but am waiting till i have the right sealent
I used Mod Podge on those ones in the photo. I'm trying out MinWax Polycrylic sealer on the next few. I've been told it gives a better finish.

Are you selling them? LOL Id like to buy one!
I am selling them at the Atlanta Repticon on the 7th and 8th of July.

Those hides didn't take too long. I used the styrofoam that falls apart. Real pain in the butt trying to grout them. I just bought the construction type foam that isn't made up of the little bits. Much easier to shape and keep together. Altogether a hide takes about 2 hours of time working on them. That doesn't include the drying and curing time for the grout, paint and sealant.

Have you used the polycrylic yet on any of them I'm currently making one and I wanted to know if the polycrylic worked good. Also if you did use it did you water it down or use as normal.
