Homemade mealie gutload?

I am trying to make my own mealie gutload/bedding mix.
Tell me what you think:
Wheat bran, powdered dog chow, flukers high calcium cricket diet, multigrain cereal (powdered). Then Flukers orange cubes for hydration. Its about 80% bran, the other 20% is the other stuff, with only a small amount of the dog chow.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I use Wheat bran, chopped rolled oats, baby ceral, and whatever cereal thats at the very end. they seem to like it and when its all grinded up a bit its very siftable for cleaning. most of my friends only use wheat bran and also have great success.

I just use oats as bedding and throw in greens for food with carrots for moisture. Sometimes I throw in the orange cubes and sprinkle the flukers stuff in. I just started my colony so any pointers would be good.

I use oats for the bedding and I mix in my powdered food (organic dog food and fish flakes) this is also the same powdered food I feed my crickets and dubias. I also throw some organic veggies in once or twice a week for there moisture. This has worked great for me.

I love the fish flake idea! Makes perfect sense! I added some ground up cat food to mine and they went nuts. I will source some fish flakes this week! Thanks for the tips!
Also: i just went today and got a 3 tier Sterilite deal from Wally World today to get my colony setup. I will post pics tonight.
