Okay, so yet again it's not about my Leo but my Fire Skink O_O But I thought everyone deserved an update!

Well, I haven't checked on him in a few days, thought if he's gonna live, well, he's gonna live, if he's not, well, he's not...I'm doing all I can do..
I went to the store I got him from a week or so back, and the other ones looked like they were doing SO much better, there color was amazing compared to how dull mine is. They were out and about while mine hides ALL the time!

Well I got a surprise when I unburied him to see if he was alive...

He was shedding!

Look at that color :p

It was coming off on my hand so I helped him take the rest off, it wasn't even stuck to him, it was like taking off a coat!

All of this color started to come through!

Then...HE POOPED ON ME! I was like...eww. omg...ewwwwwwwwww!!!

Then I was like, he has to be eating to produce that!!!

So I took a quick video and man is this sucker fast!!! So different from the calm sleepy guy I got! But then he did start to calm down and sort of fell asleep on my hand, I'm not sure if it was because I was warm and holding him under a lamp or not haha!

Video: Has some sound

Well actuallyyyy my leo was watching the whole time, and when I looked at him he lazily walked into his cool moist hide.

Well he's slowed down again, although he did bite me, it didn't hurt though, just surprised me.

I don't remember the last time he has eaten...:(

But I put a bowl of meal worms in with him, and threw about 5 or 6 large crickets in his tank and will just see what happens in the next few days...

I don't get it, he was eating fine in the first week, now he's not eating at all....:(

he may not be feeling 100 percent yet after the shed issue. It may have just wore him out and he needs to re-charge.

I'm sure he'll be fine. A lot of reptiles are shy eaters because they are vulnerable when they eat. Give him time to become more comfortable with you and his new home.
