Ok, I know I have raved about cleaning before(I have serious issues with this if you can't tell). My daughter's 4th birthday party is happening this weekend and I need to get this house clean. Why is it that everytime I attempt to clean, I am told to not throw anything out?!?!?!?!? I need to make room for the gifts she will be getting(my in-laws and we went in for a twin bed for her with headboard and footboard and monster sheets) and for the amount of people that will be coming. I'm not expecting too many kids, at least 10 and many more adults. I will be cooking and baking the cakes for the party. I will also be grilling food for the party. Thursday will be food shopping and party favor shopping day, so I need to do the essential cleaning today and tomorrow. Friday will be cooking, final cleaning and decorating day. I will be dropping off my daughter the night before her party at my in-laws so I can do this. I have asked Dean to help out be he won't because he needs to work every night this week and doesn't get home until 3 am. I just need to vent because he's the one telling me to not throw anything out. Of course now he's gone, so it's all getting curbside travel accomadations from my house. My daughter is not minding me throwing stuff out because she knows she will be getting presents. Please do not suggest freecycle or craigslist. I have tried and people on those sites are idiots!! If they don't like how you word things, you get flagged. If they say they are going to pick up something, they don't. Just needed to get this off my chest. Thanks.

You should try donating some stuff. We go thru my daughter's stuff every year before her b-day (which is tomorrow!) and Christmas. We end up with garbage bags full of stuff to drop off to goodwill/amvets.

I would, but I do not have the time to go and drop off stuff. I can't even call for pick up because my schedule is constantly changing week for week and sometimes even day by day if someone calls out of work. Can't even depend on Dean for that because he forgets.
Happy Birthday for your daughter!!
