i use a calcium powder and vitamin power for my gecko. I normally gutload any crickets before feeding them to my gecko. I will normally feed him every 2 days and drop in around 5 crickets. I dust my crickets normally 1-2 times a week. The powders can only get absorbed if the gecko is lacking but don't stress too much about it mate. Just dust your crickets or other food once every other feed or so.
Not sure about the vegies though... maybe some1 else can help out here???

I also want to know if i should use a heat lamp or a heat pad. Im guessing i should use a heat pad but i was told to use a heat lamp, what should i use? If it is a heat pad how do you guys suggest I put; under tank or side tank. and my last 2 questions are: what size should it be and how many heat pads?

That is not accurate. Vitamin toxicity due to overuse or inappropriate use of supplements is a very real possibility.

Yep, just like everyone has a friend, brother, cousin that ate an entire jar of Flintstone vitamins and had to go to the hospital to get their stomach pumped! Too much of anything will poison a living being. Heck you can drown from the inside by drinking too much water!

Yes but that is pretty extreme.. if you only use calcium or vitamin dust once or twice a week that is absolutely fine.

I simply meant that the gecko will not get any advantage from eating the calcium or vitamins unless he is deficient in calcium or vitamins.

Pretty straightford stuff

I used a heating lamp for mine when I had them, kept the tank around 90-95 and used a night lamp if it got too cold at night.
