15gal would be fine
just make sure there is enough room for a dry, warm, and moist hide, water dish, dish for mealies or supers depending on what they eat with calcium in the bottom
A 15 gallon is enough for a leopard gecko you should have a moist hide, a warm hide and a cool hide also you will need a water dish, a calcium dish. If you are going to be feeding mealies or supers you will need a dish for them and if not then you can scratch that off the list.
Warm side should be about 88f- 95f ( i prefere a temperature closer to 95f)
Cool side should be around 75f- 80f
sure and thanks cause im going to a reptile expo tomorrow to get a tank since theyre just wayyy to cheap there!
also i have a slight problem:my gecko is now 9 months old now and she has stopped eating for a long time now.I heard that that happens to them around this age but she stopped for about since she was around 5 months old.
She looks and acts perfectly fine and her tail is still pretty huge.
Is there any problems with her(and shes a SHTCT)
the gecko hasnt eaten in 4 months? Sounds a little off. Check your temps, check and see if there is something in the tank she is afraid of, and if she is skiddish, dont force her to be held or touched for a while. They dont enjoy being stressed
no actually shes acting normal as always since i bought her.I got her when she was 1 month old and she was perfectly fine with me holding her the day i bought her...and she still is.Today i just moved her to a 20g and she's sleeping as usual.
(got the 20g for 20 bucks,cheap eh?~!)
theres nothing in the tank that can scare her.Only 5 mealworms in her dish, has water, not skiddish or jumpy.
BUt besides that she looks like what a healthy gecko should look like.=]
