I'm wanting to start a Crestie breeding trio (1 male and 2 females). Will a twenty nine gallon be sufficient? Also, any advice on breeding them would be GREAT! Every article I've found so far is very brief, and they don't have enough information. Thanks!

I use a 10 tall for a trio while breeding. It is ample room for the purpose of breeding. Then after mating the male is removed. Crested geckos will readily breed on their own without any cool down or phases. Just introduce the trio and keep the humidity up to around 70%.

I personally would consider going larger. The 29 should be ample room to breed in. But I personally keep my males seperated from my females.

Yep the 29 would be fine because it gives each girl about 15 gallons. I personally feel a 10 gallon is a bit small for a single adult, I keep all my single geckos in 15 or 20 gallons, even my 25g male seems a little cramped in his 10 gallon so he will be upgraded here soon. Also if need be if your females ever decide to not get along, I had 2 females in a 18 x 18 x 24 exo for the last year, then a few months ago they decided they hated eachother....well at least the smaller female decided she was queen of the castle. The nice thing about having a 29, you can plop a divider in there still use one tank and have 2 seperate enclosures to which is what I did so my little 38g female would quit pounding on the 42g female!
