Hi there, I'm new to this site and fairly new to leopard gecko care in general. I have a question about housing leopard geckos together.

I have a baby albino leopard gecko that I purchased at a reptile expo.

I also recieved a fullgrown female leopard gecko from a friend who could no longer take care of them.

They are in seperate aquariums, the baby is in a 10Gallon and the fullgrown is in a 20gallon. Can I house them together, ever?

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the smartest thing to do would be keep them separate as you're doing for at least 3 months or so. This can be a period of quarantining and to allow your baby albino to grow a bit more. Then you could introduce them I believe. Just want to make sure there is no bullying and that they both aren't stressed out. Hopefully that sounds right.

It is best to leave them separated, until they are of equal size and weight. I would leave them separate unless you plan on breeding them (Didn't state what sex the juvie was) because they can live separately and not get lonely or have ill effects.

Thanks everyone for the info, I will keep them separated til the little one grows up. And of course thats only if he/she is female. I don't know how to sex geckos and I looked it up online and I think he/she's a she but I'm not positive.

I was told the other was a female so that's what I am assuming.

Oh, yes! I am having a lovely time with a late blooming male! >.< I really wanted a female. oh well. But yea, quarantining is a must! And unless you absolutely have to, there is really no need to house them togeher. leos thrive by themselves. =] Share some pics!
