Hi so for the next few months, I am going to be moving from my dads house to my moms house around every week (or more) or so and my mom isnt able to take care of it because she is sick and thats why im staying with my dad. I am planning on taking my gecko with me to the other house and keeping it in my room on a stand. Is it even possible to do so, so often? Should I make it so the gecko cant see out of his tank and wont be as stressed moving to new environments so often? I was thinking of using black construction paper or maybe even red to cover the sides, plus it will probably make him feel secure anyway. Will this work? Im able to bring his food along with him and his tank isnt heavy and I can transport it safely. Does anyone have any help they could give me? Thanks

I agree with Indyana the geckos should be fine. If you did cover the sides of the tank they might not know they got moved at all.

I did move one of my males so his tank is right beside a fish tank and he spent a few days watching the fish swim around. So they are aware of what goes on out side but after a few days it stopped so guessing he thought they where boring.
