How big is too big weight wise?

I have a male mack snow that has been steadily gaining weight over the last 6 months when I purchased him. He has been on a steady diet of dubia and superworms. I had been feeding 3x per week. He is now at 103 grams. I switched him to dubia and crickets to reduce fat intake and reduced feeding to 2x per week for him (but still feed all others 3-4x per week) about 1 1/2 months ago. He has continued to gain and I am concerned he could be reaching unhealthy weight limits. Would you reduce his feeding to schedule to 1x per week or switch to a different feeder? I am interested in your opinions.

He does look a little chunky. I really do not think you can go by weight when it comes to too fat or not. All geckos have different sized frames and builds. I think you should continue doing what you are doing. It will not be fixed overnight but it will work. Also, great job on feeding a variety to your gecko!

I have another male at 99 grams but he doesn't look as chunky, so I get how its about size and build.

Looks overweight to me. Feed less in one day instead of less days.

He is eating 2 or three dubia nymphs or about 7 crickets in a feeding. I guess I'll feed 1 adult dubia or maybe 5 crickets in a feeding and continue to monitor weight.
