How big is your water dish!?

U have a Medium Sized Exo Terra Dish as my water dish. It's pretty big, if my leo wanted to soak she could but I notice that she doesn't. In the mouth that I've had her she's only went to the water bowl twice that I know of. On the first day she walked over it and fell into the water and 2weeks ago she dipped her entire nose into the water 3times and thats it. I notice her licking the condensation from the side of her humid hide most of the time.

This dish takes up a lot of space in her little 10 gallon and I wanted to know how small I can go with the water dish?

If I were you I would leave it in there.
They do like to get in it sometimes, and you may never see it
unless you stay up all night and watch.

I have gotten up in the middle of the night to see my female snow
standing in it, and it's not because the moist hide isnt moist enough!

Yeah, mine get their water from the moist hide condensation too :D

I use Hamster feed bowls for my geckos food and water.
They are not huge and she can't get in them, but big enough for her to drink from.
Gecko's don't drink that much anyway so you don't need a big bowl.

Thats true, they do get most of their water from their food, and the
condensation from the moist hide.
But, most leos I have seen, like to actually "get in" the water dish.
I know its not because their moist hide is lacking, or anything like that,
they just seem to like it, for whatever reason. :main_huh:
This is why I always provide a large water bowl (but not deep).

I've notice mine drink a few times. He will also walk through it in pursuit of a cricket.
