How can I tell how old my gecko is?

Hey everyone, I purchased my very first gecko at a local petstore (petland discount) about a month ago and he is doing quite well! Problem is, I have no idea how old he is. When I got him he wasn't a baby with the stripes and all, his stripes had already turned into the dots. Is there any way to tell or estimate how old he would be? I sexed him by the bulges and the V shaped spores (which were barely visible.) Any help would be greatly appreciated!

PS: I'm new here, names Gilbert =D Nice to meet everyone.:D

I have asked the spirit of Madeline Kahn and she said it was born on 7-25-2003 - pipped at exactly 7:29 a.m.

I am no expert, but his band type of color has faded, he has pronounced spots and his color is fading, he could be older but no less than a year and a half. There is no real way of knowing.

I said I was guessing he is a couple of years old. My reasons for this 'guess' are because there is absolutely no remnant of the white ring around the head, a dorsal stripe has developed, and his tangerine color has faded. He is well over a year old, IMO.
