How can we encourage our juvi to eat more?

Okay so we got our Blizzard exactly a month ago, and he hasn't put on any weight at all...he is still so scrawny and sickly looking and no matter how much we try and persuade him he just won't eat more. At first we tried him with mealies and he showed no interest at all, so we switched to crickets which he accepted. He ate 3, threw up, and the next day ate two. But ever since he will not eat more than one a day and on some days won't eat at all.

His temps are kept around 88F and he is housed alone, on carpet so there is no loose substrate. We really want him to get to a healthy weight but he's no more than 7.6g at the moment...and he seems to eat only enough to keep his energy up, but not enough to actually gain any weight.

Any help, or advice on getting him to eat more or more regularly? I've tried feeding him once in the morning and again in the evening but he just ignores the crickets. We've also tried the slurry but he wasn't interested and is too jumpy to let me hold him and feed him by hand.

Try getting your temps up. I follow GreggM's advice, which is about 95-97 degrees. From what I understand, geckos need a certain body temperature to be able to digest food to their fullest ability. I would assume that he has that higher temperature, your little guy could digest better and therefore eat more.

Are you making sure to feed him crickets that are small enough for him? If it's too big it could be stressing him out.

Also you could get a fecal sample and take it to a reptile vet in your area.
