how do you change the temp of the heat pad?

for day and night time temps?

connect it to a timer?

or keep it to a constant 90 degree temp and just let your gecko cool off on its own at night?

thats what my gecko usually does, just cools off on his own and hides under a branch at night away from the heat pad

got my heat pad connected to a rheostat dimmer

Day to Night temps should stay relatively the same, you do not need to turn down the UTH. Your gecko will thermoregulate his own body temperature and move to the cool end of the tank when he is warm enough.

yeh he'll regulate himself, if its the sense of night and day that your wanting to give him, he gets that from the light in the room really.
