For some reason if I use only the Orange cubes w/ Fluker crix gut load I get a lot of dead smelly crix. But if I use Flukers crix gut load along with Nature Zones gut load (green cube) and the Orange cubes from Fluker, I get plenty of healthy, fast growing crix that don't die and stink up the place. Go figure. I have tested this twice and always end up with the same results.

for food i will use a small handful of oatmeal (as i only have 2 geckos) and sometimes a small chunk of carrot, i also have flukers cricket quencher (yellow gell) that works good long as it stays moist. but i only get about a dz at atime so it usually ok.

Cheeseball705, you are not gut loading to the highest potential. The oatmeal and carrot will only cover a small amount of the nutritional value that your geckos need. You really need to buy a commercial grade gut load or add more to what you already use to cover the rest. You say you use Flukers calcium quencher (yellow cubes), why not buy their high calcium gut load as well? With those few things and supplements you should have everything covered.
