I would like to hear how you pair your leopard geckos. Please say if you place the male in females cage, vice versa,or both in a completely different cage. Please state how long they are usually together. It would also be helpful to post anything you do before your pair them, such as feeding, cooling, etc.I ask because I used the "put female in male enclosure",but didn't get the results I wanted(females only layed about 2-3 clutches before they needed be paired again),so I am gonna try something new this upcoming season. Thanks!

What I make sure of is that she is definately ovulating, because if she's not ovulating the female will fight back and injure the male. What I do is put the female in with male.I find I get a better response that way. When I put the female in I make sure there are no fights.I leave the female in for 5 complete days/It really doesnt matter if u put the female in with the male or the other way around. If there is copulation there is no need to breed them again since they retain sperm. Some ppl mate them again if she only lays 3 good clutches.

Is this what you're looking for? http://geckoforums.net/showthread.php?t=66227 They don't go in as much detail as you're asking...but it should help!
Thanks for the link!It definately helped.

I bred this past year,so I know the whole ovulating routine.I keep my geckos indivdually in 15qts,so putting a female in the males cage for more than 20 minutes is not possible. Thanks though!

Anyone else got any input?

Maybe you missed the ovulation? They should have ovulated by now.I have had sub adults ovulate when they're only 40 grams. There really isn't too much that can be done AFAIK.
