If you have flown to a Reptile show and bought a few things , Ie little geckos.do you bring them back on the plane with you or have them shipped back. I don't know if that Xray machine is vary good for them.
5 or 6 years ago this happened to me My mom and I went down to the San Diego show. We got to the air port to go home and the bag check said we couldn't bring them on the plane.( 6or 7 leo's in containers seel up ) We were both surprized and decided instead of shipping them we would take grayhound back to SF. that was quite the late night adventure.

Commercial Airlines prohibit reptiles on flights, and will confiscate them if found. Your safest bet would be to ship them to yourself for next day delivery, or pay the breeder to do it for you if they will.

What reason would they have to confiscate them? what would they do with them?

because its illegal to tak ethem on the plane, they will confiscate anything that is illegal to carry on down to fingernail clippers.

Who knows what they would do with them, they may offer to let you go to the delta counter to ship them if you have time, they may not. They may just throw them in the trash like they do other illegal items.

If you arrange things in advance, you can setup to have your animals shipped via Delta Dash and get them the same day you arrive back at home (to minimize stress). It seems like it would be convenient since you have to be at the airport anyway...
