I am putting together a list of things needed for my up coming gecko. I have been very busy reading tips and this is what I came up with for supplements.

Every thing will be ordered from progeckos.

Progeckos gut load ( I will also use carrots, apples and oranges for the meal worms and crickets water source. )

Rep-Cal Calcium without D3 (for a small bowl inside the tank)

Repashy Calcium Plus (for dusting meal worms and crickets at feeding time.)

Does this cover all basis?

I am guessing it's a baby which will be eating daily, the Repashy Calcium Plus has D3 which I have always been told not use more than 3 times a week for a baby and less for an adult. The back of the bottle should tell you how much to use according to weight.

Thanks for the input. Yes I'm sure it will be a baby. I haven't gone to the reptile store yet :(. I am slowly buying the supplies it needs a little every week. This is the only way the wife said yes to the gecko. So it will take me some time but by doing this I hope to put together a really nice set up.

Repashy Calcium Plus says to use it every feeding

Yes I read that too. I don't want to get another heated thread going about d3. I had geckos in the past and used calcium with d3 with no problems. I am sure I will follow Calcium Plus directions.

I just wanted to be sure my list sounded right.

Thanks to every one for there feed back.

A growing leopard gecko needs more supplement regularity than an adult. Just as they need to eat daily where as an adult does not. I've used Rephashy's for about a year and a half, and only use an additional calcium dish in the enclosure for my breeding females. My tots and juvs get Rephashy's 5-6 out of 7 days, either dusted worms or sprinkled over baby meals. The juvs eat their worms 6 out of 7 days. If an adult begins to develop goobs, I cut back on feeding and no supplement until they're gone. Others may handle it differently, but this is what's been working for my geckos.

Okay I have read about these "goops". Where should look for them, what do they look like? Any pics of them?
