decided to get some pictures today, I am no camera man this is the best I can do :main_thumbsup: She is still very shy but getting more active and recuperating from her broken hind leg! She is no longer trying to nip me and she actually did not want me to return to her warm home :p She eats 3 small mealies a day, is this a normal amount at her size? at first she would only eat one a day but she was adjusting to her new environment. How does she look? I think shes fattening up!

how did she/he end up with a broken leg?

is it a rescue gecko?

in my opinion the gecko may not be eating right from the stress of the broken

limb.

So your saying 3 small mealworms a day is not enough? Well I got her from a reptile expo, she was given to me free because of the injured leg, they say they dont remember what happened to her the tub may have fell during the travel to the expo from another state(forgot where) I just had to 'rescue' her and hope for the best. She was in pain the first day I know, she went in her hide and never came out for a few days, but now she is out of the hide getting water, and attacking mealies limping but getting around with ease. I do not have any nearby reptile vets, I called my regular vet and hes had some experience with lizard care and he told me to bend the joints and if they bent like he told me it was just a break and will heal on its own a cast would just irritate and discomfort her even more, disabling her from catching her food. here is a quick picture of the wound, sorry for the bad quality but you can see the bruising which is a good sign of healing, at first it was a redness and very swollen
