How does this set up look?

I just got my first leopard gecko yesterday, and I'm still just figuring everything out. My set up right now is very simple: paper towels, a penut butter lid for a mealworm dish, a jelly lid for a water dish, a styrofoam meat tray (don't know what else to call it), and a heat pad at the end of the meat tray. Anybody have anything I should add? The leopard gecko is an 8.4g female.

(The picture was taken when I had a Gatorade cap in there, but I changed it to a lower and wider jam lid).

Looks good to me. Especially for a baby that small. Is it plastic? If so, keep a close eye on the heat pad. It could over-heat or melt.

Hmm, I think the bowl might be too big. Can it see over the edge? If not the movement from the mealmorms might not attract it to eat. Other than that I'd just suggest adding a small moist hide

I agree that it looks good for a baby. Just needs a humid hide. I use lids sometimes for water dishes, but mealies crawl right out of those!

The penut butter lid is a little big; I didn't even think of that. I put the leopard gecko next to the dish just now to check, and she can't really see over it too well. I just assumed it was fine because she actually climbed into it when I put her in her tank for the first time. The tank itself is plastic, and I checked the heat pad and nothing is melting as of now. Also, I made a section of the paper towels under the meat tray moist so the water is just evaporating to the top of the tray and dripping back down. That good or do I need a seperate hide?

That looks perfectly fine for a baby leo. I would however strongly recommend a thermostat to properly regulate the surface temp of the warm side of the tank. As far as using a damp paper towel under the meat tray, that will work just fine. We do the same for most of our geckos. We mist it every other day for hatchlings and once every 3-4 days for sub adults and adults. We don't even offer our geckos a water bowl until they are sub adults or adults and most don't ever use them anyway. They lick the condensed water in from under the meat tray or the damp paper towel to get a drink.
