im expecting my first egg to hatch any day now but is it going to be easy to transfer them from the incubator to thier new home or will it immediately scream and me and run away? just so im prepared.....im thinking the latter? just wondering how people get hatchling shots of them on thier hands?

Well, I don't have a huge amount of experiance...but the ones I had tried to run straight out of the egg. One nearly got away. I found out that I should put the egg container inside the tub before trying to move the baby - just in case. It takes a bit of work to get them to calm down enough to snap a picture.

I do what Shanti does-I put the egg box in the bin and attempt to shoo the baby into it, then put the eggs back into the bator. Or I'll get a deli cup, turn it on it's side and see if the baby will go into that, then I transfer it to it's bin.

We keep each clutch in seperate deli containers. That way when one hatches it's a lot easier to transport the baby into it's new home.
